1. Less is more... Some brides get overwhelmed with the number of accessories there are. Veils, earrings, necklaces, headpieces, combs, sashes... The details of your gown should be the focus, and the accessories should highlight them. If you have a super blinged out top, try a dainty necklace or none at all. If your gown is sleek with little embellishment, play it up with ornate earrings.
2. Veils are no longer necessary...But we still love them! We get so many brides asking if veils are required. They aren't! The veil is a very traditional accessory, but it's not for everyone. Luckily, there are so many alternatives, like hair combs or flower crowns. If you do opt for the veil, there are so many modern styles to choose from. And no, you don't have to cover your face with a blusher.
3. Wedding theme + your accessories…Let your wedding style guide your accessories! If your wedding theme is classic or elegant, you can get away with more glitter and glam. Bohemian or rustic themes mean more natural and understated jewelry. The theme may also determine if a veil is important or not.
