Tip Tuesday: Making the Most of Your Small Wedding

Hi Lovers! Happy Tuesday!

You can bet we have another tip for you today. In fact, we have more than one tip about how to make the most of your small wedding! Our hearts are with all of our brides who have had to postpone their weddings or change plans due to COVID-19. Many brides have had to decrease the size of their events to keep everyone safe. So whether you’ve had to decrease your guest count or you planned to have a smaller wedding in the first place, we have some amazing ideas for how to make your day even more incredible!

  1. Choose an EPIC location. Having a smaller guest list means that you have so many more options for venues! Some of our favorites are mountain lodges, intimate gardens, and private beaches.

  2. Treat your guests like royalty. Less attendees means more time and, often times, money to make your wedding an even more special occasion for everyone involved. We suggest putting together a welcome bag for each guest or making the wedding favors extra special.

  3. Get creative with your food. Find a caterer or even local restaurant/food truck that is willing to accommodate a smaller party! You will most likely find so many more affordable and uniquely curated options than if you had a huge guest list.

  4. Keep the focus on the two of you. With less people, space, decor, and entertainment to worry about, you can be intentional about the small details and what this day means to the both of you.

  5. Spend more time with each of your guests. It goes without saying that a smaller crowd means more time with each of the people at your wedding. Take a deep breath and really enjoy your day with the ones you really wanted to be there.

We love a small and intimate gathering! We see this time as an opportunity to remember the good things and make the best out of your situation.
