Jamie Johnson of MAJ Designs offers brides a completely local option. She was raised in Anchorage and has been passionate about fashion since she was a child. She started sewing when her mother bought her a sewing machine when she was 12 years old. She soon tired of making clothes from patterns so she started designing her own. In 2007, a friend asked her to make bridesmaid dresses for her wedding, and MAJ Designs was born. Now she is living her dream! Gown prices from $550 to $1000.
